The Crabtree Dental Team celebrated Veterans Day by having a special lunch in honor of our very own veteran, Amber Gilliland. The office was decorated with American flags and signs, reminders to give thanks for all who have proudly served our country. Amber shared with us her experiences as a dental assistant in the Air Force; basic training, her time stationed in Japan, and her travels to 11 countries! We also shared with each other about our own family members who have served in various branches of the military, and we learned about the history of Veterans Day.

Veterans Day is a day of appreciation for those who have served and are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. The holiday is observed on the anniversary of the end of World War I on November 11, 1918. It was originally called Armistice Day, marked by the 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11^th month, when the Allies won the victory and armistice (formal agreement to ceasefire) was reached between the Allies and Germany.

At Crabtree Dental, we are proud to work with a woman who dedicates herself to our dental team with an attitude of humility, discipline, leadership and dedication.
