Meet Our Practice Manager

Merging dental care with sound management principles.

Meet Kristy Crabtree

Kristy has been involved with Crabtree Dental since its inception in 1986. She provides vision and organizational direction and is responsible for all business aspects of the practice. She created most of the systems that allow us to demonstrate a high level of organizational commitment.

She also manages the staff and is constantly on the move to improve the patient experience.

Kristy has a bachelor’s degree in business from the BYU Marriott School of Management. Immediately after graduating from BYU she completed a one year management training program at Conoco Oil Company in Houston.

After working in the oil industry for five years Kristy began her career at Crabtree Dental where she has served for nearly 35 years. Although oil and dentistry may seem to have little in common, the strong work ethic and core business principles she learned from her work at Conoco provided the experience needed to build a successful dental practice.

A southern girl by birth in South Carolina, she spent most of her childhood in England because her mother was British and her father worked in the U.S. Air Force. She proudly considers herself a Texan, having lived in Katy for nearly four decades. Kristy loves good food and enjoys both eating out and cooking in. She also enjoys reading, watching independent films, hiking, and skiing.

She and Dr. Crabtree are the parents of two grown children and proud grandparents of two cute grandsons. Read more about them in Crabtree Dental Beginnings.
